Rainy Mood App Reviews

This app is great i can put my phone on the dock and turn on rainy mood and just relax. My only complaint is i wish i could change the pic to any rainy day scene. Please add this in a future update thanks.

It would be greatly improved by more robust timer options.

Ive been using Rainy Mood for a couple years now. I found it online through a writers group. :) Im glad they made an app for it! Its a great way to drown out other noises when I want distraction-free writing time. :)

... but I wish there was a way to choose what type of surface to listen to the rain fall on instead of just random samples. And also a way to completely mute the rain or thunder sounds. But I guess you can only expect so much from a $4 app.

I want simple apps!! This is goot to me-!!

It says the app has the random surface generator but I cant find that anywhere! I dont see an option for it :/ I still do love the sound effects but I want to find those options as well

This is great white noise that helps my baby to fall asleep, I use it all the time right now. I just wish you could turn the thunder OFF completely, it sometimes wakes her up even though it’s on the lowest frequency setting.

-perhaps a lower price -supporting sound cloud/Pandora -longer timers -maybe a city mode where cars can be heard.

Used to have a great sound. Now its terrible. The loop cuts off, and its obvious where it stops and starts again. Rainy mood was amazing when it was web based. Now its terrible, and the app is unappealing and clunky.

Great app! Instantly puts me to sleep, but the only down side is that it doesnt let you individually pick what type of surface you want the rain to fall on or to change the type of thunder sound. For a $3.99 app, they should have definitely included an option button to customize your own storm sounds...

This is a poor excuse for a "rain app." This iOS app does not hold a candle to its web app counterpart. The free apps available are so much better. I cant believe I spent $4.00; I feel cheated. I will be requesting a refund.

The app does what I expect it sounds good and puts me to sleep I like the added feature of music. The only suggestion I would like is to have the music get shut off with the app timer.

Theres very little to the interface of his app- but for people like me thats a good thing. The sounds change randomly, so youre never hearing the same rainfall night after night. I find the app helpful for sleeping, and for working when I need background noise. The interface is very minimal, with nothing to change but the volume of thunder or rainfall. That suits me just fine- too many options gives me a headache! I found this app through an ad some years ago, but I only used the website until a friend recommended it to me for anxiety. Ive never been disappointed in this app. The app works beat through speakers, Ive found- the quality of sound is high, but the speakers on an iPhone are not.

This app is user friendly. It is crazy simple to use. But the best part about it is the sound quality. It is really amazing. All I hear is the storm and rain and the subsequent splashes. I can easily relax to this. It sounds as if I am standing in the middle of a storm, and I love it. NO MUSIC IS A PLUS!!!!!!
